BANDANDJOU is my traditional percussion, dance, song, and cultural history group.
Based in Coyah, a suburb of Conakry in Guinea, West Africa, our rehearsals take place at the Youth House of Coyah. The group was founded in 2012, and since then we have devoted ourselves to promoting and preserving traditional Guinean music and dance.

We welcome all tourists to visit our institute, BANDANDJOU, located at the Youth Center of the Prefecture of Coyah, on the national road, directly opposite the prefectural hospital.

We have skilled masters who are able to teach traditional Guinean dance and drumming. Visits are open to the public, chairs are available, the hall is well‑ventilated, and the restrooms are clean.”**
