Our Feminine Sewing School in Guinea
In the heart of our neighborhood in Guinea, we created a feminine sewing school with one clear purpose: to give domestic girls a real chance at independence, dignity, and a future they can shape for themselves. Many of these young women face limited opportunities and are vulnerable to early or unwanted pregnancies. Our school offers them a safe alternative—one built on skills, confidence, and economic empowerment.
Through hands-on training in sewing and tailoring, the girls learn a professional trade that allows them to stand on their own feet. They create beautiful clothing and handmade products with dedication and pride. I bring these items to the United States, where they are sold, and 100% of the income goes directly back to support the girls.
This support covers:
- Essential food and daily needs
- Sewing materials and equipment
- Rent for the workshop space
- Expansion of training opportunities
- A safe environment where they can grow and thrive
Every stitch they make is a step toward independence. Every sale in the USA becomes food on their table, tools in their hands, and hope for their future.
Our sewing school is more than a program—it is a lifeline, a community, and a pathway to transformation for girls who deserve every chance to succeed.
